As a total amatuer to the Marketing industry Ive been lucky enough to be given the opportunity by our lovely MD Claire to be trained up by a true expert (I’m not just saying this, I actually believe it to be true) with over fifteen years’ experience within the marketing and digital media industry, I can’t think of a better qualified person to learn from. Both her passion and enthusiasm were clear from our initial meeting and I couldn’t wait to get started within my new role, which was strange as before I met Claire I didn’t really understand marketing, how it worked, the time and effort that goes into strategic planning or even how vital it is within a company.
Immediatley I was excited at the prospect of learning new skills with constant support and mentoring from one of the industries best and settled in quickly, mainly due to the teams ability to put people at ease.
My main duties are to work alongside Claire with the management of client Marketing, PR and Social Media accounts, coordinating with clients who have ongoing contracts, managing media applications and conatcts as well as conversing with new contacts and following up on new enquiries.
Keeping our clients happy is our main priority, as well as providing jargon free support and advice to new and existing clients. All of our services our bespoke to each companies individual needs and we help identify the key areas for improvement as well as provide recommendations on how to achieve this. I am actively involved in our Social Media training workshops as well as the Boosting Business event that we co-host in Nottingham every quarter, providing information to local companies focusing on a different topic each time in an easy going, relaxed atmosphere with plenty of time to openly network with other local companies from all industries.
