MD of Brighter Directions is Claire Curzon After a flourishing career at senior and director level in the corporate world working across a wide range of sectors including publishing, retail, leisure and the financial industries, Claire launched the company through passion to help small-medium sized businesses. Using the extensive skills and techniques learnt in over a decade of sales, customer care and marketing with commercial strategies, the same passion and determination to help the SME market still shown today, with testament by our growing loyal customer base.

Marketing & Brand Manager Maggie has had 25 years’ experience in graphic design, print and marketing, having worked with PLC’s, Blue Chip Clients and SME’s she is well versed in handling a broad range of requirements and budgets. Maggie’s passion is working with SME’s and seeing them grow, her enthusiasm and dedication is infectious.

Business Development Manager Sharon has been with the company since the early days heading up our Management training division. With the huge growth in our Marketing solutions, Sharon has recently found herself supporting clients in this field, providing real value from her extensive expertise in ICT support, bringing a new diversification to the team which will grow as she develops her skills and knowledge.

Sahara is our passionate Marketing Executive, who joined the company to support Claire and Maggie deliver client Marketing solutions to SME’s across the region, as well as managing all the background research, analysis and client administration support. Her enthusiastic attitude, willingness to learn new skills coupled with a consistent friendly nature ensures our existing and prospective clients are always happily accommodated.

Our Sales & Customer Care Apprentice is who brightens up the office with her buzzing confidence and outgoing friendly nature that’s always looking to meet new contacts and potential clients on the phone or at various networking events throughout the region. Her natural positive attitude ensures she is always on hand to offer friendly advice and a helping hand.

Kirsty is our resident telemarketing professional, with a positive friendly attitude and easy nature, she’s ideally placed for managing our telesales division and coordinating all client accounts on the sales and customer care solutions. Kristy’s background has always been focused on sales with a strong influence on customer satisfaction throughout all her previous roles, including working for an international advertising firm as Sales Manager.

Office Manager is Debbie with a successful background in staff development, Debbie has the commercial experience and genuine desire to drive teams forward with a cheerful and honest nature ensures that our client relationships are built on strong foundations that last.

Our Accounts and Administration assistant is Toni whose background is working in customer care and administration support in the social care industry. Her caring nature along with attention for detail is paramount when dealing with our client files, ensuring you are always in safe secure hands.

Event Co-ordinator is Dominique who joined us on an Internship from Derby University and has blossomed in her role managing our corporate events. Dominique works with us on an ad-hoc basis supporting with event co-ordination, so her previous experience dealing with charity organisations ensures you get the most from attending our conferences, seminars and events.

NLP qualified practitioner Ian, delivers excellence in building team communication and self-confidence that works particularly well integrated with our sales and customer care training sessions as well as offering bespoke training and short course sessions.

Our resident PR specialist is Jenny who has been working in the public relations industry for several years, her expertise lies in small business support with local media management and press campaigns. Her friendly nature and creative copywriting skills ensure your business news is a must read.

Creative design expert Rachel is a cut above the rest, having worked together for several years on client and our own marketing projects, Rachel is now part of the team at Brighter Directions and handles all our client creative graphic design work with her imaginative flair and ability to convey your marketing message clearly and professionally with her designs, Rachel can also design corporate website designs too.
